I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lush (Sheffield, Angleterre) in May 2018
Interview
it was fun and interesting. it was a group interview followed by a trial shift and a one-on-one interview if you did well during the first interview. we had to describe an object we brought in and why it was important to us. we sorted some products into different baskets.
The group interview was a lot of fun and was about different activites and tasks to do on your own (present to the group) or together (build the highest tower possible out of paper.
I made it to the trial shift which was a terrible experience. They let you go on your own and expect you to sell products without necessarily knowing what you're talking about. I kept being asked questions about gift boxes contents and had to refer back to the managers and ask them and they told me I should be more independent but how can I accurately recommend a gift box when I know as much as the customer about their content? I did plenty of homework and I knew about the products specifically (and I have been a LUSH fan for a long time) but it really stumped me.

Interview
The interview was really fun with different activities. One was to demonstrate a bath bomb and teach others about the product. Then we had a table that was an ice breaker table, where we got to know one another. Then there was a table filling in relevant documents. After the interview I was invited to a trial shift in the store.
