Lush Sales Assistant interview questions

The process was a group interview for a temporary sales assistant position over Christmas. We were asked to describe how we would recommend products to cover, create a window display and how we would merchandise stock to be appealing to customers, followed by a trial shift.

I had all the standard customer service based interview questions, with some questions on favourite products thrown in. It was clear they went for more creative types, so I tried to add in some quirky responses. I was then invited to do a 2 hour trial shift - after doing this I had to chase the manager for 2 weeks to be told I'd been unsuccessful. It was clear the manager wasn't going to contact me had I not reached out myself.
