I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG
Interview
First round was supposed to be about basic introduction, and technical and behavioral assessment. The interviewer was of Assistant Director level, who went off-tangent numerous times. He did not have many questions ready, and was trying to create them on the fly, leading to awkward moments during the interview. He was also unable to answer satisfactorily any questions raised by the candidate at the end of the interview. The interview mainly consisted of basic situational questions. Not much was discussed about the technical expertise.
Second round was a case study, which had to be completed within 48 hours.
Third round was with the Director of the team. The discussion was more or less about the walkthrough of the candidate's CV and the solved case study. Not much discussion about technical background and experiences. The job was described in detail, and the description sounded quite different from what was advertised - it was more about sales enablement than research.
Final round was with the Partner, which went smoothly. Basic questions about the educational background and work experience. A few questions about the candidate's industrial knowledge. Furthermore, he inquired if the candidate had any other job offers in hand.
