First call with the recruiter and the second call with the hiring manager. After spent hours on interview preparation, I never heard back from the company again despite a follow up. You can tell the company’s values are just lip service. They treat candidates as disposable.

Tell about a time you had a conflict with stakeholders
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HubSpot in Jul 2021
Interview
Process began in the beginning of July.
I submitted my resume and cover letter and was contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen. The phone screen went well.
Middle of July, I advanced to a virtual session with a hiring manager, and that session went well.
Beginning of August, I advanced to the third stage which included a portfolio review, and three individual interviews with various team members.
My recruiter was helpful throughout the entire process, and then after my final interview series, I was ghosted. Even now, I have not received a decision one way or the other, even after two follow-up emails across two weeks. In the end, I withdrew my candidacy and took a position with another company.
HubSpot was my top choice. I was excited about contributing to the culture there and growing as a designer on a well established design team. I wish I knew what happened, or was at least kept up to date. I felt devalued, and didn't get a chance to have the advertised "feedback session" that was offered to folks who'd made it so far into the HubSpot interview process.
All in all, I was extremely disappointed with the way my candidacy experience ended. I hope that my experience is singular, and not a common occurrence.

Question 1
How have you used data to inform your design decisions?
I applied online. I interviewed at HubSpot in Mar 2021
Interview
Never even got to the phone interview, because their recruiter had 5-7 days in between emails. Ghosted me and then when I followed up and asked me for more availability time to chat, I answered, and then she ghosted me again. I then did another follow up and got an OOO reply notification saying she was on vacation. Horrible recruiter, sloppy and incredibly unprofessional. For a company that touts itself for being a 'top employer', their recruiters (at least this one) was awful.

Question 1
No questions, because the recruiter ghosted me and went on vacation and never followed up!
Very sorry to hear this, I just flagged it to our Product and UX recruitment manager to ensure she digs in here to find out what happened so we can improve upon it, thanks for flagging our way. -Katie
