I applied online and the recruiter reached out to me 2 weeks later. The first HR interview round was great and very thorough. I was told I would be onto the next round immediately. The HR also followed up on the day of the interview to let me know what type of answers (structure) the hiring manager prefers.
Had the 2nd call with the Hiring Manager (who was super new to the company) and I thought it went ok but I felt that judgement was being passed as I tried to explain my experience (based on the Recruiters comment to be detailed) and I think the interviewer wanted it brief.
I was told I will hear back on next steps and feedback. The recruiter has ghosted me, it’s been 3 weeks, despite the chaser I sent asking for feedback.
This is actually the 2nd time I’ve interviewed with Hubspot and both have been probably my worst intervening experiences. The first one, they put me through 7 rounds and gave me a verbal offer only to email 10 days later and let me know they went with someone internal.
The second one, I was hoping for it to be better, what started well and promising, didn’t follow through.
Why boast yourselves about the culture as well as “look for someone who can be a culture fit” when you don’t really practice what you preach.

Interview
Interview process was long and drawn out over 4 weeks just to get to the second stage.
Once I finally had the second interview, it all seemed positive at the conclusion.
However I was finally contacted a week later by the recruiter informing that I was not successful.
The feedback and reasons for not being successful were not accurate with what actually occurred, whoever took notes didn't care, I think the decision was made before I stepped into it.
Disappointing as I would have been a perfect fit for the role.

Name a time where you had to navigate a difficult customer to a resolution
Definitely research the company culture code and come prepared with STAR examples!! I spoke with four different managers and had to give a presentation of a customer example for how i'd run a call.
