Overall, I would say that the interview was a good experience for me. I know that I didn't demonstrate my capabilities as well as I would have liked. I am currently a sophomore computer science student and this was my first technical interview. Going into it I was extremely nervous and I think this feeling was exacerbated because I am someone who struggles with anxiety.
But, I would definitely recommend that anyone who does an interview for the STEP internship to just not overthink it. I received pretty easy questions on basic concepts. Try your best and know that it's not as nearly as scary as it might seem.
