I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (El Paso, TX) in Dec 2021
Interview
2 phone interview calls that lasted about 45 minutes each. The questions were answered over a word document that was shared between the interviewer and me. The questions weren’t meant to be that hard but I told them I was a second year student , so the questions were more geared towards a swe intern.
I took 3 telephone interviews. The questions are quite easy, but require a good application of STL and good coding habits (e.g. naming of variables). Three interviewers turn out to be in quite different styles and I have to communicate actively. Overall, I learned a lot from these interviews.
