I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Five Guys (Jacksonville, FL) in Oct 2011
Interview
The whole interview is generally set up within a few days and only takes about 10 to 15 minutes. The key here is more to say " I'm polite, I'm friendly, I'm easy to talk to, I'm a hard worker, I'm very social, and most importantly I'm honest". This company will call your references and consistently ask you for more details. Once again how you speak is more important than the answers to mundane questions.

Interviewer asked me basic questions about myself. She then talked about her experience working in the industry. The interview lasted about 15 minutes and was easy. Basically a get to know you type of interview.

Then an inperson interview with one question about customer service, and a 30 minute ‘day in the life’ where u cut some peppers and jalapenos
