Number of multiple choice tests (3-4) carried out on Ipads:
1. Numerical reasoning: Basic maths test: no calculator, aimed to test your mental maths. Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide large numbers. Potential Pythagoras triangle question, also simultaneous equations.
2. Venn Diagram Test: understand and be able to process data, apply Union, Intersection etc to Venn diagrams. Eg, there are 120 students in a school, each assigned one digit. Students that took maths are an even number, students that took physics are a multiple of 5, Chemistry students multiple of 7. They want to know how many students took; (a) Maths AND physics, (b) Maths and Chem, (c) Physics and chem, (d) those that took none of the subject (ie prime numbers).
3. IT test: This one is hard to prepare for, names for various computer related abbreviations, eg html, SQL (coding software FDM use). Understand the differences between coding languages (eg Java, C++). This is the test that most people find hardest.
finish off with 3 back to back interviews with minimal break in between. These are strength based interviews so it's more for them to get to know your passion in technology, what you like to do in spare time, goals. A good approach to have is to take their question, apply it to yourself (hobby or experiences you've had) and then relate it to the job role you're applying for and why you'd be a good fit. Each interview lasts only 5-10 minutes. The whole assessment day does take some time. I was there from 8:30 till roughly 3pm. Make sure your bring your passport, ID and a bank statement/proof of address from the last 3 months
