I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Sydney) in May 2025
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me.
I wasn't actively job searching but agreed to have a call.
During the screening call, it became clear that the primary skill the company was looking for was strong Ruby/RoR experience. I explained that it had been several years since I last wrote any Ruby code (which is quite clear from my CV, though...), so I wasn't prepared to proceed with a Ruby-focused interview. The recruiter and I agreed not to move forward with that particular opportunity. However, he mentioned he would reach out again with another role that aligns more closely with my current tech stack. I haven't heard anything from them since.

Could not understand how they can evaluate skills base on it.
Maybe I was unlucky with my interviewer
