I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Checkout.com in Apr 2022
Interview
Took quite a long time for them to contact me between stages, ended up dropping out during the stage to develop some software as I didn't have the time to commit to it.
Recruiter reached out after I submitted my resume. After setting up an initial time for our chat, recruiter just kept cancelling and changing the time, before just ghosting me with no explanation whatsover, without even having had the chance to have our initial chat Very poor experience. The basic thing to do is to at least inform the candidates of a change in the position
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Checkout.com in Oct 2019
Interview
Before being called in for an interview, someone from the recruiting team contacted me for a phone interview. That went on for 20 mins or so, where the idea was more to get to know about me, current employment etc.
I was sent a technical exercise to complete within around a week (No hard deadline). After submitting this project, I was called for an interview where I was asked questions around technical decisions made during this projects (trade-offs, choices, etc).
A final interview/conversation with HR was then set up for salary specifics.
