I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Checkout.com in Oct 2019
Interview
Before being called in for an interview, someone from the recruiting team contacted me for a phone interview. That went on for 20 mins or so, where the idea was more to get to know about me, current employment etc.
I was sent a technical exercise to complete within around a week (No hard deadline). After submitting this project, I was called for an interview where I was asked questions around technical decisions made during this projects (trade-offs, choices, etc).
A final interview/conversation with HR was then set up for salary specifics.

Question 1
I was asked to talk around projects I have worked on with localized content and what were the challenges implementing a project on a global scale.
Great process, everyone extremely friendly and it’s more like a conversation than a test. It was relatively quick to move through the stages.
