I applied online. I interviewed at CNBC in Dec 2016
Interview
I had a phone interview because I was overseas for an exchange . The questions were quite tailored to the country I was currently in, asking me about the financial/business aspect of Canada. She also asked me some basic questions like why I wanted to join CNBC. She informed me of the rather erratic working hours and the stressful environment. I received a phone call a day later and got an offer.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CNBC (New York, NY)
Interview
Did a video interview with basic background questions. Did two phone interviews with supervisors to see what team I would fit best with. Was offered a position a week or so after the last interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CNBC (New York, NY) in Apr 2015
Interview
Very discouraging, felt like interviewer did not want to be there. Acted confused as to why I was there even though we had confirmed interview months in advance. Very bad energy.
