I applied online. I interviewed at CNBC in Jun 2023
Interview
20-minute phone interview with the internal recruiter, and then a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager a week later. I was given an assessment following the second interview. The reason I gave the interview process a thumbs down is because I was completely ghosted by the company after submitting my assessment.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CNBC (Singapour) in Mar 2016
Interview
Emails and in office interviews. Skills test round before interview with the VP. Quite straightforward all in all. Pleasant to speak but was informed at the last minute that the circumstances had changed and had to renegotiate quite hastily
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CNBC (Englewood Cliffs, NJ) in Apr 2011
Interview
I spoke with a recruiter, who said they never consider anyone less than Ivy League for the role, but she liked my resume so I had to do my best to impress. Interviewed with a Sr. Exec VP and an Exec VP who asked me for some story ideas.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I had to critique 2 days' worth of 2-hour programs and pitch story ideas for the following days as part of the interview process.
