background Q&A, basic js + react, and then two leetcode (one easy one medium). Almost one hour interview, the interviewer is pretty nice. Will ask you to dry run the code with given example.
Multiple interview rounds. Recruiter was great, clear, answered the questions and pleasant. Hiring manager was the opposite. On a video call while driving in a car in China. As expected connection dropped multiple times and it was impossible to have a conversation. It’s clear this company wants Chinese leaders. Look at their leadership teams and recent lawsuits. Racism clearly thrives.
Good overall. Total two interviewers, both are friendly. Questions are mainly about physical design, some digital design and FPGA as well. Bytedance asic team are hiring intern for the first time.
