I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Rome) in Jan 2011
Interview
Very short and easy online application, did not have to take any numeracy test. Sent in application on line and received and invite to London, for 2 interviews. Much less formal than I had anticipated. "Fit" portion was just a discussion about my work history- cannot remember getting a single question of the classic PEI's usually mentioned (challenge, fail, team, etc) 30 min fit 20 min case (times two)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing was really unexpected, but I got off on the wrong track on the case.. and swan dove off the cliff from there when I messed up some very simple math, I think I included two more zeros than I should have. We both knew it was over when the guy basically chuckled at me because it was amusing to him how off base the answer could, in fact, be.
I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Lisbonne, Lisbonne) in May 2026
Interview
One virtual assessment followed by four in person case study interviews.
Two fourty five minute case study interviews and if the candidate passes another two fourty five minute case study interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One case study about an airline and another about the banking industry
2 one-to-one interviews with fit questions and case studies. One is about the mining industry's efficiency increase, and the other is the PE decision in investment in a specific electronic vehicle.

Interview
