I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at B&Q (Leigh, North West England, England) in Oct 2015
Interview
First there was a group interview, there were 5 that attended this particular one. Firstly we sat in the room and had to say a bit about ourselves. We then played a game where we had to name a product sold for each letter of the alphabet. We were then asked to build a tower as high as possible with whatever we could find in the office. We were then asked to pick a product off a table and asked to sell it to the group. After this we were taken onto the shop floor and asked to interact with customers, offering help where possible. After this we went back to the office and while we waited the assessors went into another room to discuss who would be invited back for an interview. 3 of us were chosen to return for a 1to1 interview with 2 managers.
The 1to1 interview seemed that it was taken from a standard script.
Overall not a bad interview process, the group one was quite relaxed.
