I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2021
Interview
multiple interviews, questions looking for specific and detailed responses. Prep by practicing how to answer in SMART format. be prepared to give more than one answer to the same question. Listen to the questions and answer what is asked of you (rather than trying to fit prepared answers to the questions - they are more interested in how you think than what you actually say tho.. do show you can be specific and walk them thru your process) and definitely look up Leadership Principles and keep in mind while answering.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA)
Interview
They follow STAR method to ask questions and it was great knowing that despite I got 7 round of interviews ( peers/ managers/eas / bar riser/ manager) , I like that they informed me timings and when I would hear back which was 72 hours after final interview

Question 1
Describe a time when you have to pushback on your peers
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Apr 2024
Interview
It was a disappointing experience. The process heavily relied on the STAR method, but it felt forced and artificial. The interviewers follow scripts rather than engage in a real conversation—like speaking to chatbots. There was little room for meaningful discussion about the role, my experience, or how I could contribute.
