8 hour day consisting of 1 hour interviews. Most interviews were with one interviewer, but a couple of them had two interviewers. One of the two person interview teams had what is called a "bar raiser" whose job is to press the applicant harder than usual to see how they act when uncomfortable. Overall, very nice people.

Question 1
Was asked my opinion on a product placement strategy currently being implemented by the company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Dudelange) in Nov 2012
Interview
Worst interview ever ! A serious lake of serious and professionalism, and very disrespectful. I had one 'kind' of phone interview, and we were cut-off one the middle of it for some 'technical reason' and the recruiter just call me back one week later to 'finish' this phone interview, which was not really one. I have sent several e-mail reminders, most of them without any answer (as they say they will contact me this day, but never do it !). It was a really big waste of time for me. They have a serious problem with their incompetents recruiters, they seems to choose their employees at random... And I thing candidates is not the problem when we see the bad interview reviews for this company in Luxembourg...
This give me a very bad impression concerning this company, that I never though it was possible as big as this company is...Good company for customers, not for working for.
Good luck for people who will have an interview with Amazon Luxembourg....
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you describe your experience,etc.
Not so much relevant questions for an interview, so this is why it was not a real interview for me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Hyderâbâd) in Jan 2012
Interview
Applied after seeing the position in job portal. received call from recruiter couple of days laters scheduling one face to face interview.
Post that received call again from same recruiter confirming that i was through to subequent phases of interview and that i need to come down to their office again for 4-6 hours for 3 rounds of face to face interviews. Left the day after going through the f2f intervies. 2 telephonic interviews were scheduled again, post which an offer was made
I experienced 2 categories of interview viz.1) to judge my personality and 2) technical skills.
I would say technical interviews were not very difficult to handle if the candidate has good experience and does not fake around, but peronality test interviews were something which made me sweat.
Other thing which i think amazon wants to check is how you handle stress and thats the reason they conduct so many rounds of interview one after the other that most of the candidates would loose patience and do not something wrong which interviewers want to check in you.
Honestly on couple of occassion i too felt like loosing my temper, but fortunately was able tp control on it.
