I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Hyderâbâd) in Jan 2016
Interview
Got a call from an HR who worked with Amazon- they had apparently found my CV in a job portal and were interested. After three telephonic rounds, they invited me over to Hyderabad for a set of "onsite" rounds. Once those were over, three further rounds followed. I was interviewed by the hiring manager twice (once onsite), and by several other stakeholders across Operations, HR and across different management levels.
They made an offer the day after my last interview. The entire process took 1.5 months to complete.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
90% questions were about the Amazon leadership principles. They really want to know for sure if you're going to be a good cultural fit.
The other 10% questions involved puzzles, live data analysis and insight generation, and so on. The questions were the most interesting ones I've ever come across in interviews.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Hyderâbâd) in Dec 2012
Interview
Telephonic interview went smooth. Manager was straight while explaining cases over phone. Also, each question was meticulously prepared to test the candidates knowledge. Final interview with Operations head was really. HR discussion was tough. Salary was fixed and there was no change.
Overall it was good experience to face such a tough interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Oct 2012
Interview
Tough interview process, generally 4-5 rounds. Highly competitive in tough to crack the interview process. You need to be consistent in every round in terms of performance. The HR was supportive, the interview process is smooth and the management provides you with feedback in case you haven't cleared a particular round.
