ADP's Account Executive interview process typically includes the following stages:
Initial Screening – A recruiter conducts a phone or video interview to assess your background, sales experience, and motivation for joining ADP.
Hiring Manager Interview – A one-on-one interview with the hiring manager to discuss your sales skills, past performance, and how you handle challenges. Expect behavioral and situational questions.
Panel or Peer Interview – Some candidates go through a panel interview with sales leaders or potential teammates. This may include a role-play or mock sales pitch.
Final Interview & Offer – A final meeting with a senior leader or VP to evaluate cultural fit, long-term potential, and close any final questions before an offer is extended.
The process is structured to assess sales acumen, resilience, and ability to drive new business. Expect a strong focus on metrics, cold-calling experience, and closing techniques.
Slow interview process. Screening with recruiter, one with manager, and other with peers. All virtual. Pleasant experience and chance to ask questions and get feel for the role at each round. Be prepared to have questions ready and highlight your wins/losses, organizational skills, and if you’re comfortable with being in the field selling.
