As part of our mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life, Viatris in Egypt has partnered with the Ministry of Health and Population to support the Mental Health Presidential Initiative “Your Health is Happiness,” challenging stigma, expanding access to care, and making mental well-being a societal priority, as we believe there is no health without mental health. As part of the initiative, more than 1,000 healthcare professionals have participated in the capacity-building program on various aspects of mental health, contributing to long-term transformative change for access to more holistic, patient-centered care. The program witnessed the presence of eminent leaders from the Ministry of Health and Population, which emphasizes Egypt’s strong commitment to advancing mental health services and reinforces our shared belief in the power of creating scalable, sustainable impact through public-private collaboration.
Nearly 1 in 2 elderly people in the Netherlands feels lonely. That’s all the reason we need to step up and do something meaningful. Next week, as part of our Building Healthier Communities program, several groups from our Dutch team in the Netherlands will roll up their sleeves to revamp the garden of a local day center for the elderly and join a foundation against loneliness. There, they will be planting flowers, cleaning up, making pancakes and playing typical Dutch games such as sjoelen, a classic Dutch shuffleboard game. Together they will create a warm, welcoming space where people can relax, connect and enjoy a joyful day together. At Viatris, we believe in the power of community and we’re proud to support those who’ve laid the foundations of ours.
By blending sustainability with philanthropy, colleagues in Komárom are making every bottle count. Each quarter, our colleagues come together to nominate and vote for a new cause to support as part of our hashtag#BuildingHealthierCommunities initiative. So, when Hungary’s nationwide return system for reusable bottles launched, the team saw it as a great opportunity to take part in. After just one quarter, we’re excited to share that our team raised 1350 EUR from the cause— which was then donated to a pair of Viatris colleagues whose son has a developmental disorder. We’re proud to help connect everyday actions to meaningful support for our communities.
🌱 Building a culture of wellbeing, one step at a time. True wellbeing goes beyond a single action — it’s about creating a culture where physical, mental, and emotional health are all supported. The team in BeLux is proud to take another step on this journey with the first in a new series of wellbeing keynotes. This week’s session focused on nutrition, providing our colleagues with insights into the power of healthy eating and daily choices. After the keynote, we brought the message to life with a healthy lunch from a cozy food truck — a simple but powerful way to connect, recharge and be inspired. 🚚🥗 This session marks just the beginning of a broader focus on wellbeing, with more initiatives to come. #ViatrisBeLux #viaViatris #Wellbeing #ElevateWithViatris
For the second year in a row, Viatris was named to TIME’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies List, which recognizes leading companies from around the globe.
In our Lyons office, located in France, we have been welcoming an employee like no other for several months: Awaï, a guide dog in training, who shares the daily life of an employee and, in fact, that of an entire company. 🦮 🧭 Between 2 months and 24 months, the puppy is in a socialization phase and learns to evolve everywhere: in transport, public places and offices. This is essential so that, in the future, he or she will be able to accompany a visually impaired person, both in his or her personal and professional life. But welcoming a future guide dog into the company cannot be improvised. It is a collective approach, which requires agility and benevolence: → Adapt your behavior: always ask the foster family's agreement before interacting with the dog, never give it food, do not encourage it to play... → Take into account the specific needs related to his presence: calm, hygiene, etc. → Think together about the best way to reconcile work and welcoming the puppy, without disturbing either of them This project is the story of shared learning: for Awaï, but also for all the teams. It is a commitment that makes both this future guide dog and our culture of inclusion grow. 🤝 Thank you to Association de Chiens Guides d'Aveugles de Lyon et du Centre-Est for this meaningful partnership, which gives us the opportunity to actively participate in this beautiful mission of social utility.

Our colleagues in Bulgaria recently hosted a Charity Bazaar as part of Building Healthier Communities – supporting animals in need through two local organizations. More than 50 employees joined to raise donations for the “Save me” and “Dom Dinev” foundations – the funds will be used to provide food, medicine and veterinary care for animals in critical condition. A simple initiative, driven by creativity and compassion, making a meaningful contribution to a cause that matters.
