Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. It’s great to work for a large company with a smaller family feel. You’re right – it’s hard to connect all business units in a growing company with offices worldwide and in so many different countries and time zones. We recently installed conference systems in some of our larger offices that we hope will help encourage communication. The new system provides the ability to not only hear folks in other offices but also allows you to see the person on a large picture screen. Another great addition is our video newsletter, Yardi Plugin, available on Employee Central which is helping to bridge the communication gap between all of our 35+ offices. In addition, we have Yardi Facebook and Instagram accounts that might be fun to check out when you have time.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how you feel. Without more information it is hard for us to understand in which ways “the company is too corporate and the work life is dry.” Many of our larger offices have event committees that work hard to engage employees in both large and small events. Several offices also have co-ed softball teams or other sports which are a great way to socialize and meet people outside of your department. We’re looking into implementing other fun activities throughout all of our offices to get employees out of the office and meeting new faces so we hope that you can come back in a couple of months with a much better social experience!
