Pros

- Good Work Culture - Flexible office timings

Cons

- Worst Management. - Appraisal process sucks - No feed back is asked/taken from programmers of Team leaders/Managers - If any programmer is having concern regarding TL or Manager eventually the programmer has to suffer but no action is taken against these TL/Manager. - Politics overcomes work by all means (Appraisals/Travel/Job responsibilities) - Work is never appreciated - Dept simply needs donkeys who can work for hours without expecting salaries and employees are never cared or looked upon - Slow growth rate (only reason found is due to biased approach - deserving person are not given opportunities to grow just because they don't want to play politics) - Not much of responsibilities - Even meetings are conducted in local language (Marathi) - No professionalism at all

Sales at Yardi

Pros

I do not have any pros to discuss for the sales year 2016. Yardi has just done a complete reorg of our entire sales organization. This reorg has left experienced sales representatives in all categories with less than favorable opportunities in 2016.

Cons

Yardi Sr. Management and owner does not value their sales team members. The senior management has all been there for 20+ years and do not have Sales backgrounds. The commission plan that has been implemented for 2016 is worse than years in the past which was already a less than average commission plan. They pay lower salaries and do not value their senior sales staff. Instead they continue to force out experiences sales reps for fresh out of college graduates. Yardi has a revolving door of staff members because they do not value tenure and experience. Yardi has lost so many good employees over the past few years for this reason. Clients are constantly complaining about the revolving door. Yardi Executive Team continually moves reps territories which does not allow any relationship building. This happens to all teams across the board with all product lines.

We're sorry you do not agree with some recent changes. We are always looking for ways to improve. Many years ago we reorganized the sales team. Everyone thought they would earn less, but in fact the opposite was true. We announced another reorganization for 2016 and we anticipate similar results.
