      - There is a good team and culture - Not much micromanagement but might change soon - Support from other teams and mentoring

      Cons

      - Low pay - Politics in management - Does not understand the Australian employees needs - Doesn't care much about offices outside of US - No room for growth

      It sounds like you are very frustrated and we do take concerns very seriously throughout all of our offices. Our HR and Finance teams use quantified salary data to benchmark against Australian national norms and are reviewed annually. Yardi’s medical plan is a voluntary benefit and you are able to opt-out of healthcare if it isn’t working for you due to recent tax law changes in Australia.       Could be great with different approach

      Young, great talented people to work with. Ok health insurance.

      Cons

      Bad management. The team leader was appointed strictly based on seniority and the friendship she has with the manager and nothing is done about the lack of professionalism and knowledge she displays time and time again. Hardworking, talented employees receive no aknowledgement for their efforts except on their yearly reviews and all the focus is on the negative. "Friendly reminders" are sent to all employees to put them in their place (for them not to be late, be at their stations etc), instead of adressing singular cases. This does nothing except get the good ones even more frustrated. I have witnessed countless displays of passive agression towards employees and nothing to counterbalance it. The annual raises are not merely enough to keep people around as the environment is kept (sometimes it feels on purpose) basically toxic.

      Pros

      Marginal salary increases well below the consumer index for inflation.

      Cons

      Marginal Salary Increases, worst in class PTO, worst in class benefits. I highly recommend working for any other software company that actually takes care of its employees. Additionally, the software is arcane and requires a year of training to become proficient in. I highly advise everyone I know to steer clear of this company. They do not know how to develop software in the modern day.

      Your concern is important to us and while we feel that our benefit package, which includes paying 100% of health and dental premiums for all employees and 85% of dependent care is quite strong, it sounds like there was more you hoped for. We review benefit plans annually and will continue to look for opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
