Pros

Yardi treats its employees very well. Layoffs are very uncommon which is a huge benefit. There is a profit share at the end of the year after 2 years of working there. This is anywhere from 5 to 10% of your current salary depending on the company profits. Additionally, the work life balance is incredible. Once you clock out, there is no chance of your boss reaching out after hours and they are very flexible with doctor appts or quick notice emergencies.

Cons

The company's software is not agile. New products feel rushed which can add stress, but it also provides job security as there is always something to fix.

Good people, work is interesting

Cons

Management often fails to follow through on their promises, and promotions frequently go to individuals who add little value to Yardi. These decisions seem to be based on seniority or favoritism rather than merit. Unless you're exceptionally outstanding, don't expect to be treated any better than those who contribute the least. Unfortunately, management appears unaware of this issue. Many high performing employees at Yardi share this sentiment but hesitate to voice their concerns outside of their peers.

At Yardi, our promotions are based solely on merit and performance and promotions happen consistently throughout the company. We have zero tolerance for discrimination, misconduct, or any form of toxic or behavior and highly encourage anyone with concerns of this nature or those who feels negatively impacted by something to schedule time to meet with the VP of HR to further discuss.
