Pros

- A good way to learn the industry; a good company for new college graduates or for people at the end of their career. - Benefits are above average (health insurance fully paid for, good PTO)

Cons

- Your job satisfaction will greatly depend on your location, work group, and manager/project director. - Expect that within some groups, there will be people who pull the majority of the weight, and then slackers who don't contribute a great deal but are buddies with the manager. These are the people who will be your leads, so don't expect a great deal of leadership. - In dealing with a specific client, our project director literally told us that we didn't need to tell them the truth, that we just needed to tell the client what we wanted them to know. Literally, we were told to "distract" the client. The director said it was like the Wizard of Oz "you know, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." So just be aware that this is the kind of management mentality you are dealing with and they are treating YOU the same way. - Cult of personality around the CEO. - Pay below standard - As mentioned in other reviews, not a good company for growth/development. Best to get your experience and get out.

Pros

Good place to get exposure to consulting within a SaaS company Some teams are fun to work with (assuming the right crowd) Salary is good -- pay what you are worth in the market based on degrees and experience Decent traveling policy Exposure to products in the real-estate market

Cons

Difficult for a fresh consultant with no "real-estate" software background to effectively work in this environment hence the "clique" -- many of the employees started off from other departments and are knowledgeable in the product (without documentation) Management expects you to know the ins and outs of the software without providing proper training -- resort to elearning as number one option (frankly elearning doesn't give you the opportunity to resolve issues when it's time to work on client environment) Many of the processes and procedures lack documentation -- difficult for new employees to get on the "band wagon" If no work, you could be sitting on the bench for 4-6 months; company has difficult managing consultants/employees who are not on-site Vertical ladder ambiguous in terms of career path -- you are stuck in the position you were hired for

Pros

1. If you are fresher then it provides a good opportunity for learning. People in yardi are very helpful. They will mentor you and help you learn technology and communication skills as well 2. Almost recession proof and highly secure 3. Great work-life balance (especially ladies should take into notice) 4. Family like environment .. warm and welcoming people hence you can see alteration rate is very low 5. Good chance of short term onsite ( month or so)

Cons

1. Technology, processes, framework everything is defined already hence as time passes learning curve goes on decreasing 2. Change in technology is bit tougher if you got stagnant 3. Salaries and other benefits are not very competitive 4. Product base company hence domain knowledge has more importance than latest technology (And how technically good you are )
