Pros

Uncapped Commission. Reps have the opportunity to run their own business. No need to work outrageous hours but top reps typically go above and beyond by choice. The company provides the tools to be successful but it is really up to the rep to make it happen. Some reviews talk about poor leadership: First, I disagree. I have worked here for the past 5 years and most reasonable recommendations that I make to upper management are considered or acted upon and upper management is flexible. Second, this is sales and if you rely on your manager or executives to make you successful, you are in the wrong career. Personally, as long as they stay out of the way and help me when I need them (which they do) things will be great.

Cons

If you don't sell much then you won't make much money or be happy. Guarantee 95% of negative reviews are from people who were less than 70% of goals.

Pros

None since the late 1990s

Cons

Xerox doesn't actually make anything anymore... It's all about service and mediocre service at that.

Pros

There are some decent, good people who happen to work there.

Cons

When I first started, it was like walking into the Twilight Zone. No one was happy. No one had a kind word about the company, or its management. Management had little regard—actually disdain—for the workers. And if you were in management and you expressed any concern or appreciation for your people, you were added to their hit list. The top person at this particular site set the culture. That culture was toxic. Corporate bullying on steroids. It was shocking to see upper-level managers cower when this guy entered a room. After I left, anytime my new boss asked to meet with me, my heart would pound and I would feel like I couldn't catch my breath—and my new boss is a perfectly kind, respectful human being. But my body would react even knowing this.
