Pros

Still a well known name and well manufactured product. Employee training is still some of the best, as well as benefits offered.

Cons

Losing market share to more competitively priced companies causing downsizing, restructured, management, low moral, higher priced benefit packages with less coverages.

Pros

People are great. Having your birthday off came back this year, as well as the 1% we lost last year due to the economy.

Cons

At first I was excited to be working for a well known, word wide company like Xerox. It didn't take me long to realize I should not have gotten my hopes up. Pay is not competitive. The hard workers are the ones that need to defend themselves while the 'other workers' are the ones that get a break. Since the pay cut last year, they took away the education program. From what I understand, everyone starts as a contractor, and with the 'hiring freeze' they will not hire anyone on, no matter how valuable you are. Even before the hiring freeze, they were very reluctant to hire, and would rather keep a big pool of contractors. Depending on your position, there is not much room for growth.
