Pros

Decent pay, "Consistent" Schedule, and co-workers.

Cons

No real opportunities to really advance in company.. ACS does stand for always changing something. The rules do change almost daily or have a new twist on them depending on the department or the supervisor you're under. I was hired on under the impression that I would be making 60k+ a year, have premium health coverage, and have at least a week off of PTO after training. I have yet to receive the salary, benefits, or the week off. That is the exact opposite of what I am getting now for ex. 20K a year base, 1200 dollar deductible on insurance, and literally if you miss anytime at all even if you don't request for the PTO, because you have received ATO they still apply it to that day.

Pros

You could work as many hours as you wanted, overtime included and holidays such as the Fourth of July were paid days off. It also teaches you how to handle disgruntled customers and make them happy, as that was the reason people were calling most of the time.

Cons

Where do I begin? I was fired for going out of my way to help an Express Scripts member (ES is contracted by Xerox to handle their inbound phone calls). Basically, this member's insurance had changed and that insurance company used a mail order pharmacy that is a "rival" of ES. She had ordered her medication, which helps KEEP HER ALIVE, and ES didn't bother to call, email, text, NOTHING, to tell her that they weren't filling her order. So I went ahead and helped by telling her to call the "rival" company because that's where she would get her meds from now on. Absolutely ridiculous.... Plus the "bosses, managers, etc" are incompetent people, who know less about the job being performed than those doing it.

Pros

I met a lot of great people and am grateful for the experience that it offered. Good starter job.

Cons

Salary was very low, even after years of loyalty and hard work.
