Pros

Getting paid is something I guess

Cons

Not flexible Work under Diana Knox who treats the department like her personal preschool. During the summer of 2022 and on my way to work my car nearly broke down, and rather than allow me to turn around and work from home as I have been throughout the entire pandemic, I was told I had to use a PTO day. This past December some ppl were getting sick and instead of letting them work from home so as to not infect others who are also being forced to come in, they were told they could take 1 day to WFH but that they had to make that day up in office and no more than 1 day to WFH would be allowed. Looking for other opportunities. If you like being treated like a number, by all means apply. Also, this wouldn’t be a big deal as when I applied I was expected to come to work, however, the company sold my original work location and moved us further East which is farther for me and some others. The departing also treats salaried workers like hourly workers. You have shifts which is bizarre, as we have no customer interaction at all. It’s an about control not the work life balance they like to tout. Best of luck.

Pros

Good work life balance Nice benefits Great culture 5 days WFH per month (pre-COVID)

Cons

Too many changes in the organisation and management recently. Lately started cost cutting by removing most of the benefits. QA roles are slowly being decommissioned.

Pros

Wells Fargo's retail banking environment depends pretty heavily on your management, but I got lucky and most of my managers over the years were very good, although a bad manager will absolutely ruin your time there. Luckily, it's fairly easy to apply for open positions at different branches. Wells Fargo benefits were great. I loved the amount of PTO I had every year and all national holidays paid. I felt respected there and that I always had room to grow and learn.

Cons

Company is constantly changes expectations and rules in order to look ease regulatory pressure. Many of our customer interactions were fairly scripted and you are required to read a lot of things verbatim, which creates a very fake experience . Additionally, I submitted my two week notice and was terminated the same day rather than being allowed to work for two weeks. I as told I would be paid for the two weeks, but have not yet and have had to make multiple hour plus phone calls to HR to seek resolution. If you work for Wells and are leaving, then just quit same day, company wants the courtesy of a notice, but just walked me when I gave one with no pay.
