Pros

Strong expertise in Cyber and Tech

Cons

Limited opportunities outside of Cyber/Tech consulting; Little to no diversity, esp at the more senior levels - the non-French leadership team are all from firms acquired by Wavestone (e.g. Everest) Limited career growth; High turnover and attrition; Lost all capabilities in Capital Markets and Banking when previous senior leaders left to join other firms; High degree of micromanagement; Most consulting firms have a strong alumni network, not Wavestone given the lack of trust people have in their former management.

Pros

Work/life balance = 10/10 401k match is higher than the 'norm' + HSA/HRA offered. Global stock ownership plan offered. Company culture is like a start up. Positive and inviting - this company knows how to have fun with their parties and ski trips, even though these dwindled with COVID. Responsibility on client projects given at even jr. levels.

Cons

Great company for a consultant starting out in their career, or junior level consultants. For more experienced consultants...a better work/life balance than a larger firm, the pros offset the cons IMO.

Hello and thank you for sharing your opinion. With our new strategic plan "Impact" launched in December 2021, our ambition is to replicate the success of Wavestone in France internationally by strengthening our sales and support teams (HR, IT, recruitment, marketing, etc.) in our offices outside France to help them growing. This will of course be in addition of targeted acquisitions.
