Pros

Comparatively good pay rate and management behavior for the industry, annual bonus, discount on shopping at Waitrose and John Lewis stores, other social clubs/activities etc.

Cons

Feedback are annually taken from employees on their stores/ immediate management. Not really a con, but not sure to what extent those feedback are acted upon.

Pros

the pay is very good, and you get a bonus, company discounts and many other financial benefits. senior management are very good.

Cons

the management tend to hire people based on appearances, and middle management are bitchy, have favourites and are generally middle aged jaded idiots. they also get annoyed if you say that you dont want to work more than the contracted hours

Pros

Competitive pay for a store assistant role especially considering the annual bonus, which for me was 18%. A nicer supermarket than most, eased into my role and given increased responsibilities as I improved in my role. Good benefit system including large discount at john lewis

Cons

Trying to hold the part time job whilst doing A-levels was demanding due to overtime requests.
