Pros

Free Ac cab (only thing i can think of!!!). May be some improvements in facility due to VMware taking over but very recently

Cons

Where shall i start. Have been with Airwatch for past 3 years but have not seen HR for more than 10 minutes if i recall correctly. There is high level of politics in everything. Especially in QE. The work is 99% manual testing with automation only in talks and that too only privileged few get to work on it. 1) Hiring is based on which region of India you belong to or whom you have been recommended by. Managers team is dominated by one sect. 2) Promotion is just a myth if you are not a favourite. Same with hikes or other perks. Freshers who come in sometimes get more than people who are experienced. Not sure if its due to management not good with numbers or purposeful. 3) Onsite - Forget it if you are not favourite or one recommended by favourite. High point is someone being sent who is sure to put papers on coming back from onsite. Funny part is everyone in the team knows. This includes the person who recommended the culprit, sorry for lack of not getting any other word. The lead of the person also knows. If the people in management who take decision on travel matter knew about this then i have nothing else to say to you. May be the message then was happy vacation. However if you did not then you will come to know about it shortly.

Pros

As a consultant, you get to work with big name companies and travel. Some co workers are great mentors. Others spend more time in the break room than on the phone with their clients.

Cons

If you are promoted internally, they try to convince you its a horizontal move. Regardless if your previous duties required no travel and much less responsibilities. I made the same solving 30 support cases a week from any company that could have as little as 25 devices, to traveling onsite to fortune 500 companies being the face of Airwatch. When it was review time, management threw every excuse in the book to not pay a cent more. They blamed the VMware acquisition and that the company didn't have the money. I spent 2 weeks in support, in 5 months in consulting and was being held at a salary less than 20k less than the average. Only stay if you have a high base salary, other wise, you will constantly be fighting an uphill battle. Younger kids fresh out of college are given basically whatever they ask for, so be sure to ask for high.
