Good interview but management style did not match interview’s presentations

I loved my team. I worked with some great people who really cared about the company and mission and gave it their all every day…even beyond working hours.

Cons

Upper management turned out to be micromanagers which eroded confidence that my team had for me. My work, even every word I said was picked apart and put down, even if it couldn’t be proven wrong. If it came from someone else it was accepted. I had to quit too soon for my mental sanity. Employees were also overworked and expected to put in many weekends and after hours on a consistent basis.

The unlimited PTO for salaried exempt employees was great! Worklife balance was good.

Cons

The company is huge so its difficult in terms of upward mobility and advancement. There's a lot of old mindsets that are unwilling to change making improvement somewhat difficult.
