Good salary and good work life balance but don't let this fool you cause you will have plenty of time with your family when your unemployed

Cons

Managers don't even give you a chance. They will bring you in to give you a "shot" but don't let them fool you. They will tell you how your doing such a great job and keep up the hard work. The next day they are asking for your badge and don't give you a real reason why there letting you go. They don't care about you or your family.

Pros

I worked for Univar for close to 10 years. They provided a good salary and excellent benefits. With the executive-suite changes in the past few years, your happiness will depend a lot on your manager. Make sure to interview the hiring manager well and ask questions that are important to you about their management style, etc.

Cons

At one time, the culture was one of a small business, but that has changed in recent years with new executives. Now, it operates more like a corporation, which for some longtime employees is a disappointment.

Strong culture demonstrated daily with opening with a "Safety Share" on any meeting of 3 people or more. Number 1 in Chemical sales in the US and Number 2 in EU. Dynamic and innovative in their development of IT assets and tools to improve their sales force. Excellent pay and benefits. But, most of all, a strong team among any level working with anyone in Univar regardless of the distance between their employees.

Cons

They gave little notice at the end of 2015 they were changing their ISR team alignments and sales offices.
