      Its a union job its pretty stable with good benefits

      Cons

      You have to work long hours and some employee slack and its hard to get them going since they are union

      Senior management (CEO, COO, CFO, and General Counsel) is relatively strong - the layer below is much weaker.

      Cons

      I wouldn't recommend for anyone to work here, at least until ownership changes. It's been a Game of Thrones environment here at Univar - LAYOFFS, LAYOFFS, LAYOFFS. They're letting go of good directors and managers - to bring down expenses and may have to hire again after the transaction occurs. All of this has been done to change the optics of our financial statements pre-transaction.
