Good company to work for if you want to have a balanced lifestyle. Great place to learn about the chemical industry.

Pros

Flexible hours in some positions. Good people who are quite professional. Reasonable pay structure that makes ends meet.

Cons

Lack of direction. Trying to satisfy almost everybody involved with chemicals in the province. Service level is compromised by having many different customers.

Pros

Good pay, nice environment, great people, casual dress code, very helpful in acquiring supplies needed, everyone works hard to deliver their own work load, monthly lunch celebrations, and helpful in answering questions. Great work life balance including working from home during harsh weather conditions.

Cons

Company is downsizing and getting rid of some of the amenities like the café and using vending machines instead.. Large kitchen areas for heating your own food which is mostly wasted space rarely more than 5 people using tables. As with any company there are those who are insecure in their jobs that cause unnecessary issues and worry. . .

overall the people you work with on a day to day basis make your job worthwhile.

Cons

poor leadership, continually bring in people from outside the company, everytime they buy a company they bring in more people with inflated job titles and salaries. Management is horrible has no idea the day to day truggles the sales reps deal with. Need to quit purchasing companies and focus on the issues and problems on hand.
