      Pros

      The salary was slightly above average, and the benefits are above industry standard, though I understand they are making adjustments to this.

      Cons

      I was at Univar four years, and each year I watched as they hired hundreds of people only to "lay off" most of that workforce within a year. It seems like they are always doing poorly at some point in the year, and they look to fire employees to make their quarterly/yearly financial goals, then hire again after the goal is met. There are many things wrong with Univar, but this is my biggest grievance.

      Pros

      Good salary and good work life balance but don't let this fool you cause you will have plenty of time with your family when your unemployed

      Cons

      Managers don't even give you a chance. They will bring you in to give you a "shot" but don't let them fool you. They will tell you how your doing such a great job and keep up the hard work. The next day they are asking for your badge and don't give you a real reason why there letting you go. They don't care about you or your family.
