      Many problems and no long term thinking

      Pros

      - Friendly colleagues - depending on position, a 9-5 job is possible

      Cons

      - No open communication within the company! Company not living up to its slogans! - No longterm thinking, no investments done, all about cost cutting - low morale of employees, very negative atmosphere as continuous restructuring takes place since almost 15 years now (since the .com bubble) - "this is not my job" mentality of most employees - no employee development and morally questionable behaviour of HR - low salaries and salary development for young/new employees (unjustifiablly high salaries of older employees resulting from Siemens history) - very low development opportunities: management positions get filled by "private friends of executives"

      Too many managers with nothing to do.

      Pros

      Most of the work was done from home. Had plenty of time off whenever I needed to do anything.

      Cons

      -People scared for their jobs are reluctant to show the new guy how anything works. -Training provided by company rarely covered the actual job you were expected to do. -The ratio of managers to "workers" in any given meeting seemed to be 50/50.

      Pros

      In Management, there are literally no "Pros" at Unify. Just a lot of wannabees. But there are real pros in the teams. Get em while you can.

      Cons

      Everything you've already read - Management has no plan and are mainly rearranging the deck chairs.
