Pros

They are serious about doing research, there are a lot of talented people and the job and practises are constantly evolving, there is international collaboration. The work is challenging so there is a lot to learn. The work culture is very casual, good work-life balance, there are some perks (e.g. Fruits, breakfast once a month, events).

Cons

There is an occasional lack of structure and guidance around employees. It's not always clear what the management expects, so you need to be self-directed or you will feel lost/confused at times. There can be unpaid overtime, although in my role there was no pressure to do it as long as your work is done on time, and we have some amount of control over the amount of work we take on

The team was amazing. The project was motivating. All the activities outside of work are really fun and they are free. There are alot of ressources to help realize specific tasks.

Cons

The salary is a bit low. The overtime is not paid. There are alot of veteran which seem to conflict in there ideas.

Pros

The ambiance in the studio is very good, and the HR provide employees with nice facilities. Projects are interesting too. Plus you often get goodies from Ubisoft. Seems that projects are correctly managed as there is not a lot of overtime needed compared to other studios.

Cons

Tasks are often assigned randomly to employees. If you are lucky you will be working on interesting things even if you don't have any experience. If you are not, you will feel like you are loosing your time! As in pretty much every video game studios, salaries are low.
