Global Company – Working for a well-known company like TotalEnergies can add value to your resume. Some Relocation Assistance – They offer relocation, though the support is not as expected.

      Cons

      Misleading Relocation Process – The company does not adjust salaries for cost of living or taxes, leaving employees financially strained. Lack of Support & Transparency – Employees are expected to "figure it out" with minimal guidance, leading to isolation. Unnecessary In-Person Requirement – While clients work remotely, employees are required to relocate for no clear benefit.

      Pros

      The size of this company and its global presence means there is no shortage of experience and resources to leverage. Pay and benefits were excellent.

      Cons

      This is a massive global energy company based out of France with a relatively small footprint within the USA. As such, it can be relatively isolating and US projects can become siloed. The bureaucracy was difficult to navigate, especially as it relates to contract management. This would often lead to awkward situations with vendors and stakeholders alike.
