A cesspit of toxic sales leaders - avoid

Pros

There are some good people in middle and entry level roles that want to do the right thing and take the company forward in the right way.

Cons

When a senior sales leader says ‘we’re not quite the wild west’, I knew I had made a huge professional error. The commercial leaders run the company, having other leaders on puppet strings including the CEO who can’t stand up to them, and they do whatever they want. They are bad people pretending the are good. They run product too, they say they want something, product do it regardless if it’s a good decision or not. No processes unless it’s a PIP for unrealistic targets when you start, no development, the company doesn’t even have annual or bi annual performance reviews - you simply fill out some unaligned metrics and nothing happens. No manager appraisal meeting, no review of your performance - nothing. It’s an old boys club - no equity, no DEI in senior leadership - and yet you have people on the payroll earning astronomical money and deliver absolutely nothing to the business. Genuinely nothing. The toxicity is palpable, having to come in every day to work with these cretins is beyond soul destroying - you will not learn the right way to work, the only things I’ll take away is how not to do things. In short: senior leadership - a disgrace, pay and benefits - it’s ok, career development - minimal (a fund intent development - it’s money), people - there are good people outside of senior leadership Senior leadership - a disgrace Pay and benefits - it’s ok Career development - minimal (a fund isn’t development - it’s money) People - there are good people outside of senior leadership

Thank you for your feedback. It’s encouraging to hear you had positive experiences with colleagues across the business. We take all feedback seriously, especially when it highlights areas where we must do better. We are confident our senior leaders act in the best interest of the company and their decisions are aligned with our company values, however we will ensure to review any examples where you felt we fell short of that, so we can understand your feedback and where we can do better. We are actively working to strengthen our cross-functional collaboration, and broaden equity and representation in our leadership team. We are also committed to ensuring employees are fairly recognized for their contributions, including regular reviews of our compensation schemes, and have clearer opportunities for career growth. Your feedback helps guide these improvements, and we are committed to building a stronger and more supportive environment for all employees.
