Pros

Very fast growing in both revenue and headcount. Very youthful outlook. Loads of fun to work at for a while.

Cons

Growing so fast and making money hand over fist hides the fact that some people are still managing the company as it existed in 2013 with some people at senior level who should have moved on. There is also an obsession with management by formula and data that sometimes ignores the people side of things. Not everything can be modelled in an algorithm,

Hi, Many thanks for your message and good to hear from you again. We are not sure which office you worked in but we can confirm that things have progressed a lot from 2013 and we are continuously making further progress to make things better for all employees and at all levels. We don't know what exactly you mean when you say "obsession with management by formula and data" and we are sorry to hear that you feel that the company ignores people. We certainly do not ignore people. In everything we do, people are at the heart of the company's growth and it is because of the hard work by the people that we have grown so fast. It is true that a company that grows very fast has the tendency to have a culture of wanting our sales people to hit targets, but we're not aware of a circumstance and would hope that we’d never lost someone after only one poor month – especially not if there were plenty of other people missing that month. Targets should always be viewed in the context of overall performance and the specific circumstances of the individual. We are proud to be in an industry that is leveraging digital to disrupt the market, and it is a good thing you mention about Kodak and Blockbuster. We are always trying our best to leverage digital trends into our work ethos and seeing how we can improve to keep ahead of the competition. Feel free to contact us if you want to discuss more at theteam@thirdbridge.com…thanks for taking the time to post. Wish you all the best! -Team Third Bridge
