Pros

Base pay is great for entry level but not worth my mental health being in the bin

Cons

Third Bridge is the worst company I have ever worked for. If I can stop one person from working here or accepting that job offer then this review will be worth it. Run the other way! Dont listen to the recruiter on LinkedIn making it seem like the best thing in the world or the job description they make sound so exciting. Working here RUINED my mental health. Management in the London office are horrendous, stuck up and soulless. You constantly have pressure on you with the ridiculous targets, it’s like you cannot breathe (and this is from someone who consistently hit targets during my time here). The turnover rate is crazy. You’ll see new people every month and two months later they are gone. There is no support of any kind. You are just a number to them. You will work long hours and be expected to be available on your phone at all times of the day, even late at night. They prioritise the needs and wants of their clients over their own employees. I mean, who care if your employees are overworked and depressed as long as they are bringing in money every month? You do the same thing every single day - they word this role in the job description and interviews like you’re doing something purposeful but you’re not. You’re a glorified admin assistant at the end of the day. You will not leave here with any real skills - maybe just working under pressure. Third bridge is a money hungry, greedy, evil company and biggest mistake of my life was accepting this job role thinking my experience would be different to 90% of the other reviews on here. If you want to work in an environment that is supportive, flexible, challenging yet exciting, friendly or dynamic. Do. Not. Work. Here. And HR team, don’t bother responding to this message asking me to email as it doesn’t align with your core values etc etc. Because it does. And not interested in wasting a second speaking to any of you ever again :)

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. We take concerns about mental health, workload, and management culture very seriously. Our intention is always to create a working environment where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow. We are always looking for different ways to improve internal support systems, team communication, and leadership accountability across all offices, including London. We also acknowledge your comments about the target-driven nature of the role. We are aware that this type of environment isn't for everyone, and it may involve working longer hours at times due to the client-facing nature of the role. While targets are part of our performance structure, we know that our compensation and benefits offering is competitive and incredibly employee-focused. We acknowledge that you have chosen not to engage further, but if you do change your mind, we would be open to continuing the conversation. Your input could be valuable in supporting continuous improvement and addressing any specific concerns you have raised.

Pros

Young people , nice location , decent pay and benefits for college grads

Cons

Despite the rigorous interview process and structured two-week training, the role turned out to be more of a high-volume sales or business development position than one focused on consulting or private equity. You’re expected to use your personal LinkedIn account to source experts, followed by cold calling and emailing at scale. While that’s part of the job, it’s important for candidates to know what they’re signing up for. A major challenge is that success often hinges on factors outside of your control. Even if you identify multiple high-quality experts for a project, there’s no guarantee the client will select any of them—or that the project will even move forward. Sometimes, the client chooses an expert sourced by the project manager already in the system entirely. This adds a strong element of luck to performance metrics. Additionally, when results don’t go your way (often for reasons unrelated to effort or quality), you can quickly find yourself on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). The pressure is constant, and morale across the team especially among younger employees is noticeably low.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your time with us so far. We are sorry to hear that your experience has not met your expectations. While it is great to see that you enjoy the office location, the colleagues you work with, as well as the pay and other benefits, we would like to address the concerns you have raised. Regarding your comments on the role itself, we try to be as transparent and clear as possible about what is required in all of our job descriptions so that people are aware of what the role involves early on. We realise that the role does involve outreach in a fast-paced and target-driven environment and that this type of role may not be suited to everyone. Our environment is well-suited for individuals who embrace a competitive atmosphere, are motivated by target achievement, and appreciate public recognition for their contributions. We strive to create a workplace where driven professionals can thrive and advance. Your feedback is really important to us, as we are always looking for ways to make improvements. If you would like to speak to us directly about your concerns, we would love to hear from you at theteam@thirdbridge.com. Thank you again for your review and for being a valued member of the team.

Pros

-The salary and benefits are good and met my expectations.

Cons

- During the interview process, this job was presented as a research role. It is just a sales role. - You don't realize it until you leave, but the associate VP's and managers are not great at leading. There is constant pressure, micromanagement to the highest degree, and little recognition for a job well done. - It is clear that the company would fire people before certain milestones in order to keep payroll at a minimum. This was common knowledge inside the company, and created feeling of uncertainty. - Very little transferrable skills to other industries. - The amount of work is volatile. You could work for weeks on a project and not yield any rewards, and this would be at no fault of your own, but perhaps a project manager/client. - The workplace culture is not very professional, as the vast majority of people working at Third Bridge are straight of college.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and give us some feedback. We considered your feedback and other comments that echoed those sentiments and reviewed our interviewing process. Our interview process is much more hands-on now -- you not only talk through what a typical day looks like, but you try your hand at the processes and tools you would use in your role. We offer various avenues to develop your career, be that through regular conversations with your manager, our global mentorship programme, or the use of your Personal Development Allowance, and feel confident that our colleagues have the opportunity to develop transferrable skills when these are leveraged. We're always open to conversations about how we can improve our employee experience, even starting before your first day, and care deeply about the culture we're building within Third Bridge, so if you're open to sharing your thoughts, you can reach us at team@thirdbridge.com.
