Pros

Totally professional team. Maintain units and trailers well. Lots of help and support from team trainers, free CPC, pay for any medical that may need to be done. They will be flexible on working times (time you may need to have time off for family or personal reasons). They like drivers to be flexible and if you put yourself out for them, it Willbe reciprocal.

Cons

One of the best companies to work for. Very very seriously do they take any infringement on HSE or company policies or working time infringements etc. and you could be out the door. And rightly so!

Pros

1. In Glassdoor it has a rating of 4 stars. It's amazes and baffles me to see such a high rating for this below average company honestly speaking this company deserves a negative star.

Cons

1. Most projects are maintenance projects and no matter what you will be forced to work on support. 2. When you finally decide to quit this company , the only thing you would know is copy and paste and nothing else. No originality here. 3. Lay off , lay off and more lay offs. Even those graduates who are preparing for campus interview know that this is a layoff company. 4. The managers and higher management want employees to worship them. Thus the more you worship them the more you will be in a good position. Those people who don't know how to worship should not join this company and as a result technology has taken a back seat. Ask yourself whether this company has come out with any software innovative product. It can't and never ever will in the future.

Pros

The salary is in the top 20% of the market in Hungary. Relatively new technologies: cloud, github, k8s, kafka. Possibility to learn how to interview people for design/coding/leadership. As a backend dev you got to deal with Java mostly, no frontend or scripting.

Cons

From September 2024 it will be required for ALL staff on ALL sites to spend 3 days per week in the office. (now 2 days but not enforced) Loud openoffice, unable to focus even when the office is 20% full. Very slow decision making on the upper levels. The architect (principals and head ofs) don't provide the vision, nor follow or lead the implementation, so teams usually work against each other. There is Apple mac, no windows machines for the devs, no freedom of choice here. All my managers said that they don't like micromanagement AND then they micromanaged me in some sort. Due to a lot of emphasis put on personal achievements, there is no teamwork, but a lots of SILOs, even within the teams. When something is broken there is no teamwork to fix it. Thus a lot of processes work slowly because there is no team commitment to own and improve the processes. There is a possibility to switch to higher positions, however they are all filled in practice and a rare vacancy is filled from external.
