Pros

Good money if you can get the hours

Cons

Management doesn’t care about you at all, one mistake and you’re gone, getting your hours is like a roller coaster and VERY INCONSISTENT…they will tell you to report to work and then tell you to go home if not needed this happened on several occasions very annoying to get up at 5am for work and they send you home. And you will not be compensated for the time spent getting to work and not working that day. And if you have a significant other you won’t see them often you will get back late and go straight to bed to get up again to do the same thing

Pros

Good brand recognition and strong market presence Decent Asociacion Solidarista, I guess the best in Costa Rica, benefits package is ok not outstanding Stable job environment

Cons

No Opportunities to work with cross-functional teams No career advancement opportunities at all for Costa Rica – internal mobility is almost nonexistent for Costa Rican people working for the HR field, and promotions are provided to US colleagues as Manager convenience and not because they deserve it Lack of mentorship or structured development plans Management often overlooks internal talent in favor of external hires Feedback culture is weak – little to no career conversations or growth-focused evaluations Work can become repetitive with no clear path for progression Managers of the area have their preferred co-workers and therefore, they force you mandatory to do their jobs, even if is not under your task.

Pros

Free food and drinks from customers

Cons

They micromanage like crazy from that camera in the cabs. The pay is not worth it if you’re not running the entire day they’re not going to pay you dip or pay you any of those bonuses they advertise. There’s 12 managers you get assigned a manager which is a waste of time because you have to work with every single manager anyway you never know who’s on shift only 3 answer their phones reliably. They provide you with 1 dolly and if you request another you’ll be waiting months for them to give you another one only for them to charge you $400 or more for something that’s essential for the job. Warehouse has no accountability they can load those trailers however they choose to and it’s on the driver to figure it out. We also do not get consecutive days off you get Sunday off and a random day of the week off so no time to truly recover. No work life balance you work 10-16hrs unloading food at anywhere with a kitchen and when you get back to the yard have to do the warehouse’s job unloading the pallets, returns, and pickups off your trailer and into the warehouse. Honestly if you come here come for the experience get in get what you need accomplished and I promise after 6 months to a yr so many high paying local jobs will be begging for you to come work for them and they will treat you like gold.
