The salary was decent, and if you are looking for a lucrative relationship to move up the ladder you are in luck.

Cons

All employees are treated like numbers. I suggest when you find another job, do not turn in a 2 weeks notice. Since you are just a number, they will fire you before working out the notice.

Pros

If it were possible to put no stars, I would. Good pay and benefits if your Human resource team does their job. However, I was supposed to have insurance benefits when I broke my leg while I worked there, but ended up having to front the $40,000 bill when HR didn’t do their job. Make sure the information they give you is accurate and follow-up!!!!

Cons

Hostile work environment if you don’t come from within, regardless of your skills and abilities. Upper management will steal your ideas and call them their own if they’re good; if they are bad, they will throw you under the bus at every opportunity they have.

Pros

You have a lot of flexibility in this job to the point where you almost make your own schedule. Also, having a $52,000 base is good for a salesperson coming right out of college.

Cons

Individuality and varying management styles are not considered. If an employee isn't motivated by money it is hard to maintain happiness in the position. This job is a constant beat down because of a lack of stability. You never know when you are going to walk into a customer and them leave you. A significant amount of this position is also out of your control (late trucks, customers not paying their invoices) but it effects your pay and bonuses. Your travel/phone expenses are not compensated - I have put 40,000 miles on my car in 15 months. Finally, the systems and commissions are always changing. There are so many moving parts that it is hard to keep updated.
