Pros
- free sub of your choice when working a shift - half price in any subway store (in either the state or country)
Cons
- very low pay, below what would normally be considered minimum wage - boss was very rude, gave some people 25+ hours and others 4.5 per week, regardless of time spent working there, skill or how many hours they wanted to work - played favourites with staff (would talk to some and be friendly while ignoring and being cold to others), let some staff members get away with anything in store (talking to each other (and not doing anything), playing on their phone) while others would be in trouble for minor things (eg. Taking too long to sip water) - constantly reminded we were being watched on the cameras - reminded constantly about productivity and how we must work every second while boss would play on his phone and take half an hour phone calls with friends when he was rostered on (leaving other staff members to pick up the slack) - boss cut 5 hour shifts down to 4.5 hours so that he wouldn't have to give employees a half hour unpaid break
