Pros

Builds work ethic, semi-free food, definitely had enough hours on my hands, relaxed environment

Cons

Still have to pay for that sandwich you make for yourself, charged for any mistakes made, long hours, often closing by myself which means food prep, sandwich making, storing, cleaning and cashier all by yourself.

Pros

Most Store Owners are extremely busy and not around much. Managing a store is very much like running your own business without someone looking over your shoulder all the time.

Cons

Again, without much involvement from the Owner, sometimes its hard to get things done when critical things happen and the owner is no where to be found.
